The hut, with 32 sleeping places, belongs to the SAC, and is managed by the “La Dôle” section. The hut is guarded by volunteer members of the section, from mid-March to early May and during the 3 summer months.
The Arpitettaz hut provides a simple evening meal, generally without meat, as well as breakfast. The hut has a large assortment of drinks. You can also bring your own food for the evening meal and breakfast, which the hut keeper will be happy to cook for you.
Between the main guarded service periods, the hut is occasionally guarded by section volunteers. Most of the hut’s rooms remain open and are permanently accessible.
All visitors who spend the night at the hut must register their visit and book in advance (see the link at bottom of the page). For hygiene and cleanliness reasons, visitors are obligated to bring a light sleeping bag (silk or cotton) to sleep at the hut.
